Cathy began her career as a group exercise instructor in 1982 and has taught most aerobic and conditioning modalities. Since then she has expanded her reach to include health and wellness consulting and education, and was employed in this capacity at PVH from 1987-1996. Cathy initiated her personal training business in 1989, the same year she achieved the title Ms. Natural Colorado at a drug free body-building competition. In 1997 she started studying and practicing yoga. Cathy first offered yoga classes in 1999 after numerous requests from her clients who had noticed that her training style became even more unifying, encompassing body, mind and breath. In 2010 Cathy completed a 500 hour level yoga certification in the Viniyoga tradition. She added a certification in the Rossiter system of connective tissue release to further help her clients relieve pain and increase ROM. Attention to detail, function and form, combined with diverse experience and education provide Cathy with a powerful foundation from which to serve her clients. When not training or teaching, she can be found enjoying the Colorado outdoors hiking, biking, walking and playing with her two yellow labs, Yogi and Curtis, as well as her husband Rick.
